Mr. Bruffett has substantial experience on all sides of a New York criminal case. As a Renssalaer County Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Bruffett prosecuted DWI cases and worked in the Major Crimes Unit. With the Onondaga County Assistant District Attorney’s office, Mr. Bruffett protected children and others prosecuting defendants in the Special Victims Unit. In 2012, Mr. Bruffett was elected to a four-year term as Cicero Town Judge.

In 2015, Mr. Bruffett published on the topic of DWI in “Strategies for Defending DWI Cases in New York” by Aspatore Books. Mr. Bruffett defends individuals charged with DWI all over New York State.

Ralph Habib, Partner

Mr. Habib has prosecuted or defended criminal cases in New York State for his entire legal career spanning over 18  years.  As an Assistant District Attorney in Onondaga County for 8 years, Mr. Habib prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony DWI cases, conspiracy, wire-tap and narcotics cases up to and including A-1 cases, the highest level felony charges.  

For the last 10 years, Mr. Habib has provided top quality criminal and DWI defense to thousands of defendants in courts all over New York. Mr. Habib was among the first to defend a DWI case under Leandra’s Law in New York State.

Seth M. Azria, Managing Partner

 

Mr. Azria was born and raised in Syracuse, New York and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo. He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from New York Law School. He is a member of the New York Appellate Division Fourth Department assigned criminal appeals panel.  Mr. Azria works with his partners to offer appellate service to firm clients.  

Mr. Azria is admitted to the practice of law in New York and Florida.
